The best pieces for summer

There’s a great deal to be said for how looking good makes us feel confident, and when we feel confident, we play our best.

Golf is a very mental game, and a lot can contribute to our on-course mentality. It’s best to arrive at the club with a clear mind and wearing comfortable golf clothing that lets us get into the swing of things when we’re warming up ahead of our round.

We love the spring as it often feels like the first time of the year when we can comfortably head out on the golf course in a short-sleeved shirt, revelling in the sun, and time in the sun is best enjoyed when we’re wearing fun, interesting styles. However, it’s also the time of year that we’re in for some seasonal chills, so it’s always best to have a mid-layer at the ready in your bag.

Golf clothing has changed dramatically over the previous decades, becoming more refined and comfortable with each passing year. Glenmuir has mastered the two necessities of making clothing that’s both practical and fashionable. This year’s golf clothing from Glenmuir looks amazing, and we can’t wait for you to try these pieces on in the pro shop.

Today we’d like to share with you four pieces from their latest range, each a stunning piece guaranteed to feel great and get you in the zone when you’re playing golf.

The Angus Polo

This piece is an endearing and unique design, and if you’re an animal lover, it’ll really strike a chord with you. The Angus polo features a plain base colour with miniature scottie dog icons printed all over the fabric. Besides looking fantastic, this predominantly polyester polo shirt will move with your body as you’re turning through your golf swing, allowing you to get the most out of your performance.

This piece features a checkered print of squares with a Glenmuir ‘G’ running all over the garment. You’ll find the Glenmuir brand name on the right sleeve. The Irvine is perfect for layering, and pleasantly fits under any accompanying mid-layer.

The Wick Mid-layer

As we’ve hinted at, it’s always best to be prepared to encounter any unfavourable weather on the golf course. You’ll be safe from any sudden chills when you’re wearing the Wick Mid-layer. This piece has a quarter zip fastening on the chest, and the collar can be tightened close to the neck. The Wick has a contrasting print on the placket and inner collar for a bit of flair.
